Commercial Catering (COMCAT) Engineer

Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week plus overtime)
£40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment, including but not limited to fryers, dishwashers, grills, commercial ovens, and microwaves.
- Conduct fault finding on both electrical and gas commercial catering equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and attend breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Participate in an on-call rota, covering 1 in 4 weekends, to provide support and maintenance services outside of regular working hours.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid COMCAT 1, 3, and 5 qualifications.
- Current F-Gas certification.
- Qualifications in electrical, gas, and refrigeration catering equipment repair and maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in working independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, with weekend call-outs on a rota basis.
