The Role
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Support the design, build, test, and ongoing support of automated electromechanical systems and subsystems.
- Utilise your hands-on skills to build and test designs, along with advanced diagnostic and commissioning capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Workshop, Software, and Service/Support functions.
- Accurately build and test electrical systems, ensuring safety and documenting processes meticulously.
- Travel to client sites for the installation of robotic automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
- Communicate effectively at a high technical level in both written and verbal English.
- Read and understand technical electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Plan workload and complete tasks autonomously.
- Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- HNC in an electrical-focused course, electrical apprentice trained, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial systems.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technology.
- Full UK driving license.
- Must be a British passport holder due to security clearance requirements.
