Gas Field Manager
Location: Greater London, Southwark,
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gas Field Manager to join a well-established and reputable gas contractor. We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader to manage a team of domestic gas engineers working within the social housing sector in the Southwark area.
In this role, you will ensure all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate jobs effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely job completion.
- Perform regular site visits and checks to uphold compliance with gas safety regulations.
- Support, lead and develop a team of gas engineers, ensuring they meet targets and deliver high-quality workmanship
- Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all engineers follow company policies and industry regulations.
- Report and monitor engineer performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing training or coaching as required.
- Offer technical support and guidance to engineers on complex issues.
- Oversee accurate completion of job records, reports, and compliance certificates.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years’ experience within a leadership role.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in domestic and/or commercial gas engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of gas systems, installations, and maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Gas Safe registered with all valid ACS certifications.
