Part time – 20 hours – Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time) c20 hours per week 
Location: Gillingham
Salary:  £17.79 per hour
Hours: Part-time (Approx. 20 hours per week)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Holiday: 20 days (pro-rata) + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service)

About the Role We’re looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gillingham on a part-time basis. This role is key to ensuring our equipment runs smoothly, carrying out preventative maintenance, and responding to breakdowns efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out planned maintenance (PM) to prevent breakdowns.
• Working closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company policies.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and ordering necessary parts.
• Using power tools and working safely at heights if required.

What We’re Looking For: Essential:
✔ Experience in a manufacturing, processing, or warehouse environment.
✔ Electrically biased with electrical qualifications
✔ Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
✔ Basic Health & Safety knowledge.

➕ Welding skills.
➕ Forklift Truck (FLT) and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) license.
