White Goods Technical Trainer / Senior White Goods Engineer

Basic salary from £32,000 / 40hr working week / Monday – Friday / Pension Scheme / 30 days holiday / Training & progression

We are UK’s largest provider of support and repair of domestic appliances with over 250 fully qualified engineers, repairing over 350,000 appliance repairs every year, working closely with all leading Manufacturers.

An opportunity exists for a highly experienced White Goods Engineer/Manager/Senior Engineer to join our team to deliver high quality training to our employees. You will be responsible for the training and development of White Goods Engineers helping develop their career in White Goods.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assisting the Training Manager in the design and implementation of training plans, Identifying needs and developing training solutions

· Promoting a positive safety culture

· Delivering in-house training programmes, courses, services, and sourcing

· Maintaining and updating training

· Building strong working relationships with key colleagues

· Ensure health and safety processes are maintained

Required Experience:

· Minimum 3 years White Goods repair engineering experience required: Washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigeration and cookers.

· Domestic Gas ACS Qualifications CCN1 and CKR1 would also be advantageous

· UK Full Driving Licence

· Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training & Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement)

· Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a complex, fast paced environment preferred

· Excellent people skills, used to dealing and building good rapport with various levels of management

· Excellent electrical safety knowledge
