Job Specification: Static Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Swindon
Salary: £38- 42,000pa / 33 days holiday / 40 hour working week / 1 in 4 on call – £100 ( minimum 4 hours paid if called out ) / Enhanced maternity & paternity pay / Child care scheme / private health care/ sick pay / life assurance / retail discounts
We are currently seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer in Swindon to work on a large well known static retail site carrying out planned maintenance, as well as repairs when required.
You will be working for a international company who currently employee over 70,000 employees across the world and hold many high profile contracts across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning equipment on site
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to A/C systems ( VRVS, VRFS and Splits ) and the odd general building maintenance
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of building systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate repair efforts and share expertise.
- Monitor and record equipment performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the planning and execution of larger maintenance projects, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants.
- Keep up-to-date documentation of maintenance activities, work performed, and parts used.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
- FGAS / NVQ level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- A/C training and certification is essential, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems.
