We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various commercial settings. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our clients’ businesses and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in retail buildings, including lighting, power distribution, motors, controls, and other electrical components.
- Due to our clients need you will also be required to carry out general maintenance to sites
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems.
- Perform electrical wiring and conduit runs, ensuring proper sizing and routing according to regulations and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as necessary, using testing equipment and hand tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- 18TH Edition
- NVQL Level 3 electrical qualification or similar
- Full UK drivers license
