The Role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to steer the strategic direction of our sales department.


  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline
  • Identify new markets for high-value industrial automation solutions
  • Ensure an effective sales strategy and foster strong commercial relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes and deliver accurate bids
  • Create compelling, persuasive bid content tailored to client needs
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders


  • Dorset (with travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips)

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior technical sales role within aerospace or automation, and/or composites.
  • Successful track record in delivering effective and profitable sales strategies
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience supporting bid processes from start to finish
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and team motivation
  • Ability to understand and convey technical information regarding industrial automation technology and/or robotics.
