ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER – DAYS ONLY

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Salary: £37,000
Shift: 39 hours per week – DAYS ONLY – SEE HOURS BELOW
Overtime: Available at enhanced rates

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with strong Mechanical Skills
We’re looking for a hands-on professional to join our team. You’ll be tackling a range of reactive breakdowns, working on a mix of electrical and mechanical equipment, including PLC systems, drives, motors, pumps, and inverters.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ad-hoc and reactive maintenance across various machines and facilities.
• Fault finding and repair on bespoke PLC systems.
• Working closely with an experienced engineer to get up to speed-our equipment and processes can take up to 2 years to master, but you’ll have dedicated support in your first 3 months.

What you need:

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrics (required).
• Experience with PLC systems-fault finding is essential.
• Strong background in working with drives, motors, pumps, and inverters.
• 18th Edition is a bonus but not essential.

Shift Details:

Shift 1:
Monday: 6 am – 2:45 pm
Tuesday – Thursday: 6:30 am – 2:15 pm
Friday: 6 am – 12 pm

Shift 2:
Monday – Thursday: 9:30 am – 6 pm
Friday: 6 am – 12 pm

Overtime:
Overtime is encouraged and frequently available, especially during breakdowns. You’ll earn time and a half on Saturdays (up to 12 pm) and double time after that. Sundays and bank holidays are paid at double time, plus time in lieu for bank holidays.
